SMS Terms and Conditions

SMS Communications

Just Appraised Inc. (“Just Appraised”) may send text messages on behalf of a government agency or other Just Appraised customer when you request that information be sent to you by text message.

These messages are intended to provide information that you specifically requested during your interaction with the applicable government agency or Just Appraised. They are not marketing or promotional messages.

Message Frequency

Unless otherwise disclosed to you when you provide consent, each request will result in one SMS message containing the information you requested.

Consent to receive one requested text message does not enroll you in recurring SMS communications. You will not receive recurring or marketing text messages as part of this service.

How You Opt In

You may opt in verbally during a telephone conversation with a government agency or a Just Appraised representative.

Before sending the text message, the representative will:

• confirm that you are requesting information by text at the mobile number you are calling from or another mobile number you provide;
• identify the government agency or organization on whose behalf the message is being sent;
• explain that the text message will be sent by Just Appraised on behalf of that organization;
• describe the type of information that will be included in the message;
• disclose the expected number of messages;
• inform you that message and data rates may apply;
• inform you that the Just Appraised SMS Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy are available on the Just Appraised website; and
• ask you to expressly confirm whether you consent to receive the requested text message.

A text message will be sent only after you affirmatively consent, such as by responding “yes” to the representative’s request for permission to send the message.

For example, a representative may state:

_{“To confirm, you’re requesting a text from [Government Agency] at the mobile number you’re calling from. The text will come from Just Appraised on behalf of [Government Agency]. We’ll send one text containing the information you requested. You won’t receive recurring or marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply. The SMS Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy are available on the Just Appraised website. May I send the text?”}

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. Just Appraised does not charge a separate fee for receiving these informational SMS messages.

Opting Out

You may revoke your consent to receive SMS messages from Just Appraised at any time. You may reply STOP to a message from Just Appraised or otherwise communicate that you do not wish to receive further SMS messages.

Because this service generally consists of a single text message requested by you, opting out will primarily prevent additional SMS messages from being sent unless you subsequently provide consent again.

Privacy

Just Appraised takes your privacy seriously. Information collected or processed in connection with SMS communications will be handled in accordance with the Just Appraised Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

Just Appraised may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any updates will be posted on the Just Appraised website and will become effective when posted or as otherwise stated in the updated terms.
